How an EA briefs a connected Australian journey
One note is enough. We do not replace you.
Australia
Most of the serious briefs we receive do not come from the principal. They come from the person holding the diary.
WAYPOINT is built for that person. One contact across AIR, SEA, STAY and EXPERIENCE, so the aircraft, the house, the vessel and the days between them are not five inboxes.
We do not replace the EA, the PA or the chief of staff. We take the operational load that does not belong on their desk, and we report back in a form they can put in front of the principal.
One note is enough to start.
What to send
Send what you already know. Leave the gaps. We will not stall a brief because the aircraft class or the house has not been chosen yet.
- Dates
Preferred window, hard constraints, and whether dates can move a day either side for aircraft, weather or a house.
- Party
Headcount, names if you have them, and anything that changes the aircraft or the house: children, a principal who works on board, a guest who does not fly commercially.
- Baggage
Golf clubs, ski gear, dive kit, garments, gifts. Seats, bags and fuel compete on every leg. This belongs in the first note, not the week before departure.
- The week
What the week is actually for. Water, a house, a celebration, golf, work with a weekend attached. If you already hold a residence or a vessel, say so.
- Arrival
Preferred departure city, preferred arrival window, and whether the flight sits inside a wider stay or is the whole brief.
What comes back
You get the shape of the journey first: what is actually possible, including the options that are not a charter. Then aircraft, residence, vessel and days are confirmed with operators, owners and hosts. Price, terms and WAYPOINT’s commission are set out in writing before anything is committed.
You remain the contact the principal already trusts. We remain the contact who holds the operators.
What we do not need
A finished itinerary. A preferred aircraft type. A brochure shortlist. If those exist, send them. If they do not, the brief is still a brief.
Questions, answered plainly
- Do you replace the EA?
No. WAYPOINT makes the job easier. The principal keeps the person they already trust. We hold the operators, the house and the days, and we report back through you.
- Can one brief cover the aircraft and the house?
Yes. That is the point of the house. AIR, STAY, SEA and EXPERIENCE held as one journey, through one contact.
- Where should I send it?
Use the contact form, or write to mason@waypointandco.com.au. Copy whoever needs to stay in the thread. Phone +61 408 902 439.
- Do I need a budget figure first?
No. There is no public rate card. We come back with the sensible options for the brief as written, including the ones that are not a charter. Commission is agreed for each confirmed booking and made clear in the proposal.
The journey. The place. The memory.
